ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE DIFFERENT  TYPES OF AUSTALIAN VISAS

VISITOR VISA:

• This is also called a Tourist Visa. The conditions required to obtain this visa include-
• Adequate funds to support oneself
• Proper health
• Proof that one intends to return to their own country
• Proof of no past criminal records
• No debts to the Australian Government.
• You cannot use this visa to study in Australia. You also can not apply for a job with this visa.

STUDYING AND TRAINING VISA:

• You should be enrolled in a legitimate course at any Australian institute.
• Fluency in the English language is mandatory
• You should be covered under an insurance policy or the Overseas Health Cover (OHC)
• Proof of financial ability such as tuition fees, airfare, living expenses, etc.
• Documents that show academic experience

FAMILY AND PARTNER VISA

• If the person is a spouse or fiancé of an Australian citizen, they are eligible for a partner visa.
• If you are sponsored by a child currently residing in Australia, you can be eligible for a parent visa.
• A person between 18-25 years of age, if dependent on parents who are Australian citizens, can apply for a child visa.
• All candidates must meet health and character requirements
• Every candidate should have enough proof of their connection to Australia.

WORKING AND SKILLED VISA:

• Candidates between the age of 25 to 32 are most advisable to apply for this visa as they score the highest points.
• Candidates should be fluent in English
• If the candidates are nominated by an Australian employer, they can apply for an Employer Nominated Scheme Visa
• Candidates should not have any unpaid debts to the Australian government
